Babyarchive is a specialist image library set up to meet the needs of clients who require model released stock imagery of pregnancy, babies and children.

Photographers retain full copyright of their images and keep 50 percent of fees earned from their sales. We check all client registrations before account activation, so that the images can only be viewed by registered professional clients.

Babyarchive promotes images to the specialist parenting editorial market as well as the national press and top advertising agencies, and we are a member of BAPLA (the British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies).

The Babyarchive Contributor Agreement

If your application to become a contributing photographer is accepted, we'll send you our standard Babyarchive Contributor Agreement and ask you to sign it before submitting images.

Submitting images

We want to let you concentrate on photography rather than captioning and keywording. Our standard submission process is as follows:

1. Accredited photographers are given a username and password that allows them to upload their pictures by FTP to the Babyarchive picture desk. A Model Release form will need to be supplied where appropriate.

2. The images are reviewed by our editors and who make a final edit and then caption and keyword them ready to upload to the Babyarchive website.

3. When a media client downloads a high-res image from Babyarchive, they are invoiced as soon as possible. When Babyarchive receives the payment, our administrators dispatch the relevant commission to the photographer.
